morning routineHey guys! So at the minute I’m sat watching friends and thought I’d write a post for you guys! So I’ve been on my summer holiday for about two weeks and I already don’t want it to end because I go into year 11 and yes, I’ve heard all of the horror stories. But it’s my dance show two days before term starts so it’s unfair. However, while I was in bed earlier I was thinking of some posts I wanted to write for you guys because I always get my best ideas either in the shower or in bed first thing in the morning, mainly because I’m in both so much, and I decided to write my summer holiday morning routine for you!


Okay so I wake up about 9:00-9:30 because I like a lie in when I’m on holiday but I don’t like to be asleep too long or I feel really gross and lethargic when I wake up (yes a really long word for me, I know) So I’ll basically wake up when my alarm takes me from my dream and then I lay in bed for around 15 minutes trying to continue my dream in my head. It never works.
When I finally get up it’s because I am bursting for a wee and will wee all over my bed if I don’t get up. I practically sit on the toilet for another 10 minutes just on my phone scrolling through my social medias (my instagram) go check it out guys!
Around 10:00 I go downstairs and grab some breakfast. In the summer my meals are so disheveled. Like I’ll eat my breakfast at 10:00 and then my lunch at like 2:00. At the minute I’m literally obsessed with the mini chocolate chip weetabix, they’re so good! I’ll usually grab some juice or water with this too because I’m always really thirsty in the morning and my mouth always feels disgusting. Please tell me if you relate because I feel like the only one.
So while I’m eating my breakfast I will switch my chrome cast on and watch some YouTube. At the moment, smaller youtubers that I’m loving are BeautySpectrum, Floral Princess, Unjaded Jade. But then I obviously love the more popular ones like Zoe and Marcus etc.
When I’ve finished eating my breakfast, I’ll go wash my face with the neutrogena pink grapefruit daily scrub and brush my teeth. Isn’t the whole concept of brushing your teeth weird or is it just me? Like we’re the only species that does it.Sorry just weird thoughts always come out when I’m blogging. If you’re interested I use the Colgate teeth whitening toothpaste. This is all I do skincare wise in the morning because I’m lazy and normally I have to hurry up for school so it’s just become a habit. I normally do my main routine on the night but I’ll link that post here you!
So at about 10:30 after many more scrolls through my phone, I start to get ready. If I’m not going out then I will either stay in my pyjamas or change into comfy clothes like jogging bottoms or shorts. However I’ve literally been busy everyday of the holiday so far and I won’t lie, I’m nearly dead. I just pick an outfit which usually consists of jeans and a tee because I’m very basic, and if I’m feeling it I will do my makeup and maybe do something with my hair. Considering this is a beauty blog I actually don’t talk about beauty too much so I am thinking of doing a what’s in my makeup bag! Let me know if you would like this please!
It takes me a while to get ready so by this time it’s about 11:15. At this point I will go downstairs and check my blog while waiting for everyone else in my family. I usually check it earlier in the morning but this is like a proper scroll through of people’s blogs, who I follow and I love to comment on them and thoroughly read through them all.
Finally about 11:40 (specific I know) my whole family is ready to go to wherever we are adventuring that day and we take off!
Okay so that was my morning routine! Sorry it was pretty bog standard but I don’t do many exciting things in the morning!       Thank you! And yes crunchy nut is amazing! I went through a phase last year were it was all I ate for like 3 months for breakfast and dinner πŸ˜©πŸ˜‚x

    I absolutely love morning routine posts, or any routine post really! I’d love to see a what’s in my makeup bag post😊 Lately I haven’t been too into breakfast but when I’m feeling creative I love making these healthy pancakes with only 5 ingredients: almond milk, banana, baking powder, gluten free flour and gluten free oats…legendary with honey drizzled on top!

    Such a fun post, girl! Haha I try to finish dreams like that sometimes, too πŸ˜‚ it hardly works! Alarms ruin such fun dreams! My favorite thing to have for breakfast is pancakes – especially with pure maple syrup! πŸ’œ

        I buy cold pressed juices ready made from Juice Press, or Press Juicery here in NY. Wholefoods sells ready made cold pressed green juices as well. It’s a mix of greens with one apple, or pineapple. There is so much variety. Plus they taste good.

    I’ve just finished year 11, my best advice would be to stay calm and think about the amazing long summer you’re going to have at the end of it, that’s what really helped me get through all the horrific exams Xxx
